Hello everyone, how are you all doing? It’s nearing the end of the most miserable month of the year, can you believe it’s almost February? For those who are already planning holidays and mini-breaks, today’s post might be right up your cul-de-sac.
Remember the Upper Brook St project from back in 2017?
It was a guest bedroom in an Edwardian property i’ve been working on with the owners since 2016. This room in particular garnered a lot of positive attention, press coverage and the like and it’s still one of the most popular Making Spaces designs today. A room i’m so very proud to have in my portfolio.
The great news is, that the Harrogate homeowners, Vanessa and Andy, have now listed their guest bedroom and ensuite on Airbnb so you can now book a night or three here!
“A recently renovated Edwardian period stone built property 10 minutes walk into the town centre and minutes from the Stray.
This award winning (Houzz bedroom of the year 2018) luxury bedroom and en-suite will make you feel like you are staying in a 5 Star hotel.
With a comfortable modern king sized 4 poster bed, hanging space, sitting area, large mirror, walk in shower, toilet and sink.
Guests will also have exclusive use of “The Drawing Room” recently featured in Real Homes magazine.”
Oh yeah, you also get to relax and drink gin in this room too. The Drawing Room which was my very first project in their Edwardian property. Read more about this project here.
And… as a special extra for Making Spaces readers, if you message Vanessa and Andy before you book with the code Making Spaces, you’ll get an exclusive 10% discount on your stay AND a tour of the rest of their house including the Trumpet Bedroom and Bathroom, The Copper Bedroom and the recently completed kitchen/diner.
So if you’re visiting God’s own country soon and fancy staying in the spa town of Harrogate, then add the Upper Brook St bedroom to your favourites on airbandb. Vanessa and Andy are lovely people and I wish them all the luck in the world hosting guests in their beautiful home. Just watch out for their gin measures though, I hear they’re on the generous side 😉
