Time for bed

Am currently working on a bedroom re-design, not my loft bedroom, another new project. The room is crying out for an upholstered bed. You know when a bedroom is big enough and the space luxurious enough for a real feature bed? Like a proper boudoir.

I’ve been looking online for a bed that’s just a little bit different, for this rather special space. Cue Button and Sprung, a bed company with a difference, specialising in stunning handmade upholstered beds and mattresses. They promise to make buying a new bed or mattress as simple as possible with everything coming with a 10 year guarantee. They’ll even give you  100 nights to “sleep on it” so if change your mind they’ll arrange collection and a full refund. How good it that?

Let’s take a look at some of their beds then…

The Peony

Button and Sprung’s beds are all hand made in solid beech with their bed styles ranging from the traditional and romantic to mid-century and modern.

The Rose

“Rose’s rococo curves make bedtime fun. Distinctive, elegant and witty, this French-inspired style adds a je ne sais quoi to your bedroom.”

Their beds and mattresses come in UK standard sizes including Single, Double, King and Super King but they can even make made-to-measure, specialist sizes beds if you’re one of those people whose legs dangle over the foot of the bed.

Each of their 14 designs comes in several base options including the traditional bed frame, divan base, ottoman base or storage bed with drawers.

Poppy Ottoman Bed

“The Poppy’s Manhattan loft-style design delivers a clean, contemporary look for your bedroom.”

An ottoman bed is the perfect choice if you’re running low on storage space, especially if you don’t have the space either side of the bed to pull out drawers.

Select your own fabric from Button and Sprung’s enormous upholstery range, they have over 80 to choose from. Or go bespoke, and choose something from their range of designer fabrics including Designers Guild, Linwood, Romo, Andrew Martin, Korla and Harlequin.

Oh how I love Eliza. She would be so perfect for my latest project.

And the Eliza again, this time upholstered in soft Natural wool. COMPLETELY different vibe but both equally beautiful.

See how much difference a colour can make to the overall look of exactly the same piece of furniture?!

The Willow

The Willow is the perfect choice for the Scandinavian boho bedroom vibe. The simple, square, split headboard is softened with the squishy, pillow-y upholstery offering you the perfect spot to sit and read your latest Nordic noir paperback. Truly beautiful.

The Lavender

With a headboard of over 1.5m tall, you know the Lavender is going to be the star of the show in any bedroom. I mean, I’m 1.58cm tall and i’m very imposing. I do love the idea of having this upholstered in a simple black cotton against a blush pink wall. How nice would that be?

If you’re down that way, Button and Sprung have a showroom in Fulham. I’d highly recommend popping in for a looksie (and a coffee), test out the beds and mattresses and have a good feel of the fabrics. And if you do, tell me which bed your favourite is. Is it the Eliza? I really hope I get my hands on one in this new project.

This was a sponsored post for Button and Sprung. But all opinions are my own. Always. I only ever work with companies and brands that I actually like and think you will like too.
