There’s no better time than a bank holiday weekend to get moving with that online shopping list. Especially when that list is crammed with those big ticket items for the home. A BH weekend = bank holiday money saving and the more you can stretch your budget, the more amazing your space will be. Win.
It was time to finally make some decisions and start placing orders for the Masonic Villas project. Come see what we we bagged (online) this weekend.
“Must have” statement reading light from Bluetreesun
Orchid Wall Light – 10% off plus a nice and chunky trade discount from yours truly.
The finer details – all from La Redoute
Some for the living room and others for the home office. All these gorgeous items had a whopping 40% off all weekend.
The Anvil Coffee Table had 10% off with free delivery
The homeowner’s love of crosses continues into art work choices. This poster from Desenio is perfect for the monochrome, paired back scheme for the living room.
15% off all prints at Desenio
A touch of “rough luxe” for the staircase and landing.
2 x Lyx Adjustable Poster Light from Mullan Lighting
Louka Wool Rug from La Redoute – for the living room
At this price we couldn’t justify going for the Beni Ourain option. Priced at £399 but with 40% off meant we got this 2 x 3m rug for £240. Bargain.
The velvet jewel in the crown of this huge project.
The Connor sofa from made.com – 10% off and free delivery. Destined for the living room.
We saved well over £400 on Bank Holiday deals. And by going through Topcashback for most of these purchases there was even more money to be had.
The myth about interior designers trying to get you to spend money, splash the cash, go all out is totally wrong. I work my butt off trying to save money on each and every project and make the most of your budget. I even wrote a post last year with all my top tips on how you can save money.
So then, did you bag anything spesh over the bank holiday weekend? Any bargains? Spill.
I actually couldn’t be any more jealous. The beni-esque rug? Lush. And pretty much everything you’ve selected from La Redoute. And that sofa – simply divine! You have impeccable taste. Never change! Can I move into the Masonic villas please?
Haha. I think a lot of people want to move there… me included. I am totally jealous too btw. All of these pieces are stand out. Can’t wait to start fiddling with it all! 🙂
Loving the sofa, loving it all. I nearly bought that rug, but went for a different (cheaper!) one from La Redoute (hopefully arriving tomorrow, exicted!). Also used Topcashback, kerching 🙂
A-ha! I wonder if you ordered the same rug as moi Molly. Good work on the money saving. Feels good dunnit!? 🙂
So many amazing pieces, and kudos for finding them at such great prices for your client! So excited to see this room come together!
Me too!!! Project has been put on hold for a month so we can get the lighting nailed and the wait is killing me…!!
I know this post is over 2 years old but I’m absolutely adore the dark grey sofa in the pictures you’ve used and, on the basis the Connor sofa is still available, I’m hoping the same for the dark grey!
Do you know where I could get it, or something like it, from? I’m decorating and keen to get a box style sofa…thanks in advance!
Sorry Farrah, that pic is from La Redoute and shows their Louka rug. I’ve no idea where that actual sofa in the press shot comes from i’m afraid!
